Puppy preparation...

The days are passing quickly - Porsha and Italia's due date is only three days away now! The excitement!

In preparation for this autumn, I got most of the things I need before leaving Canada. Although it was maybe just a liiitle bit early, I figured that it would allow me to spend less time rushing around stressed when I return, and before my little puppy finally comes. The only things I have yet to buy are his bed, a simple leash that it doesn't matter too much if he chews before learning leash manners, and a few more chew toys and Kong-type stuffing toys. Plus his food, of course - the plan is to go with a local Nova Scotia raw food producer. I'm very excited about many of the things I've shopped, but I suppose I can't really do reviews until puppy gets to try things... then there'll be lots to say!

I've also been reading lots of books. The trouble is I've been starting them, then end up being in the middle of a dozen without finishing any. The next few weeks I'll try to change that. Upcoming days off (at last!) should help with that. So, until soon!

Big news!

Just a few days ago I received an email from my breeder - both Italia and Porsha are confirmed to be pregnant! Porsha's pups are due a week to two weeks from now, and Italia's are expected during last few days of May.

This is of course huge news, and I can be expected to become increasingly impatient over the next couple of weeks. Hopefully there will also be picture updates in not too long.
